Where is VERVE Madison located?
You’ll be thrilled to know that VERVE Madison is conveniently situated at 506 West Johnson, right in the heart of Madison!
Not a morning person? No problem! You only need 5 minutes to walk to campus! Plus, if you’re a foodie (who isn’t?), we’re surrounded by some of Madison’s favorite restaurants, including the Bassett Street Brunch Club, Nitty Gritty, Fresh Fin Poke, and Chasers Bar and Grill, to name just a few.
What floor plans are available?
Our variety of one, two, three, four, and five bedroom floor plans are perfect for those looking to live independently or with roommates. Please see the ‘floor plans’ tab for what is currently available.
How can I schedule a tour?
You can schedule a tour by calling our office, submitting a contact form at the bottom of vervemadison.com, or stopping by our office!
How do I sign the lease at VERVE?
The entire leasing process can be done at our leasing office or done at home online.
What is the lease term at VERVE?
All leases at VERVE are 12-month installments beginning on mid Aug and ending on July 31st.
What is an individual lease?
An individual lease is a per-bed space lease. You sign a lease for a bed space in the apartment and share common areas with roommates. This means you are only responsible for your own installments. This allows you to live with roommates without having to worry about whether they’re going to pay on time.
Do you offer roommate matching services if I don’t have enough people to fill my apartment?
Yes! VERVE offers a roommate matching program. After filling out the roommate profile in your application, we will match you with someone that has a similar lifestyle and habits to the best of our ability. Additionally, we partnered with RoomSync, an app used to create a profile and swipe to match with potential roomies!
What is a rental installment?
Your contract is based on a total amount that is divided into 12 equal installments for convenience. Your first installment will be due August 1 and the last on July 1 unless you choose to renew and stay at VERVE for another year. Because of this, August rent is not prorated.
When is my installment due? How can I pay for my installment?
Installments are due on the first of each month. You can conveniently pay through your resident portal using a debit/credit card or e-check.
Is renter’s insurance required? Do you provide renter’s insurance?
Each resident is required to have an active liability insurance policy. Coverage may be offered through your parent’s insurance provider, or you can enroll through your resident portal and a small fee will be added to each rental installment. Additionally, you may purchase additional coverage which will cover your personal belongings if a loss were to happen.
What utilities are included in my installment?
Your installment includes fiber Wi-Fi internet with Ethernet ports, water, sewer and trash. You are responsible for the electric charges.
What is a guarantor and what if I do not have one?
A guarantor is a third party that ensures timely payment for your rental installment and any additional charges during your lease at VERVE. If you do not have a guarantor, we have alternative options to approve your application to live at VERVE. Contact our office to discuss these alternatives.
What if I am an international student? What documentation do I need to provide?
International students will need to provide a copy of their student visa during the application process. In lieu of the guarantor requirement, you may opt to prepay the last two installments of your lease prior to move-in.
Are the units fully furnished?
VERVE’s apartments come fully furnished. Each resident will have a full-size XL bed with a headboard and pillow-top mattress, a four-drawer under-bed dresser, a study desk with USB, and a desk chair.
Our standard floor plans come with common area furniture, including an entertainment stand, Smart TV, coffee table, sofa, side chair*, and barstools. Larger units may include a sectional couch.
Do you provide in-unit washer and dryer?
Yes, we do. Each unit will have a dedicated washer and dryer.
What are Villa units at VERVE? Where are they located?
Villa units are on the terrace or podium level with a private hot tub. It has upgraded appliance packages and unit features such as

How fast is the Wi-Fi at VERVE?
VERVE offers residents up to 1-gigabit speed. Each unit has an individual Wi-Fi router, with ethernet ports in the bedroom(s) and common space.
Do you allow pets?
VERVE is pet-friendly, restrictions may apply. Please contact the leasing office for more information.
Do you have maintenance staff? How do I place a work order?
VERVE offers onsite maintenance to address any maintenance concerns you may have. A work order request can be submitted through your resident portal. For emergency maintenance after hours, please call the leasing office and follow the prompts to reach the maintenance team.
